| It was
wonderful to be able to custom-design exactly what we wanted ourselves and
have it built directly to our specifications and to fit our space. We'd
never tried to design furniture before, but it worked out
wonderfully--Chris had great suggestions and was able to translate our
simple ideas and sketches into actual built shelves and units! The
resulting furniture has met or exceeded our expectations, looks great, and
was finished on time and on budget for a very reasonable price. Chris is

Chris at Whitney
Woodworks made a custom designed stereo cabinet for my home. It is
gorgeous. When people visit, they always comment about the unique style
and they ask where I got it. I love telling them it was hand made for
me. I really like old furniture and am always reluctant to buy new
pieces. But this is exceptional. The details and the craftsmanship
really make a difference and you can tell this cabinet was created with my

secret...but probably not for long. Not only did they apply superior
craftsmanship to their work, they also provided exceptional service and
seemed committed to my complete satisfaction.
When I first hired Chris and her associates to
build a custom bookshelf for my den, I didn't have a clear picture of
what I wanted. They offered up a number of design possibilities and
helped me come up with the final design. The results are stunning Chris
and her team built and installed a beautiful, oak-stained bookcase that
is absolutely perfect for the space. I highly recommend Whitney Wood
